Regional carrier FLY91 has launched scheduled flights from Navi Mumbai, taking its growing network to 14 destinations. Navi Mumbai is also the airline’s fifth destination in Maharashtra, joining Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Solapur and Pune.

The airline marked its first Navi Mumbai-Goa service with a small inaugural celebration at the airport. The first passenger received a ceremonial boarding pass, while a cake-cutting event marked the start of the new operation.

The launch creates a fresh air connection between the Mumbai metropolitan region and Goa, with FLY91 operating two flights each day on the route. Travellers departing from Navi Mumbai can also continue to Agatti in Lakshadweep through Goa, providing another convenient regional connection to the island destination.

The new Navi Mumbai flights are part of FLY91’s Winter Schedule 2026-27 and support the carrier’s wider network expansion strategy. Under the winter programme, the airline plans to increase its weekly flight operations from around 280 to more than 350, adding frequencies and strengthening connectivity across its regional network.

Commenting on the commencement of operations, Manoj Chacko, Founder, Managing Director and CEO of FLY91, said, “We are happy to bring FLY91 to Navi Mumbai and make it easier for people in the region to fly to Goa. With two flights a day and onward connectivity to Agatti, passengers will have more options to plan their travel. We will gradually add connections to other destinations as part of our winter schedule and will shortly commence daily flights to Sindhudurg as well. As we grow, our aim is to connect more regional destinations and make flying a practical and convenient choice for people,” said Manoj Chacko.

With Navi Mumbai added to its growing route map, FLY91 now serves 14 destinations across India. Its network covers Goa through Manohar International Airport in Mopa, Navi Mumbai, Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Solapur, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Agatti, Kochi, Hubballi, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Tirupati.

The latest network expansion comes as FLY91 prepares for significant fleet growth. The regional carrier has placed a firm order for 40 ATR 72-600 aircraft in a deal valued at around US$1 billion. The agreement represents the largest firm ATR order placed by a regional airline globally and is expected to support FLY91’s longer-term plans to expand its fleet, strengthen regional connectivity and add more destinations.

Travellers can book tickets for FLY91’s new Navi Mumbai services directly through the airline’s official website. The flights are also available through major travel booking platforms, giving passengers multiple options for planning and purchasing their journeys.
