The expected activity comes after a major passenger milestone at Port Miami. The port surpassed ten million cruise passenger mark for FY 2026 on 14 September, breaking the previous annual record of 8.56 million passengers before the end of the fiscal year.

Which New Cruise Ships Will Arrive in Miami During the Upcoming Season

The PortMiami 2026–27 cruise season will introduce an extensive selection of vessels, ranging from intimate luxury yachts to large contemporary cruise ships.

According to Miami-Dade County’s official schedule, October 2026 will feature Ponant Explorations’ L’Austral and Explora Journeys’ Explora III.

November will bring Orient Express Corinthian, Silversea’s Silver Shadow, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s Ilma and Emerald Sakara.

December will add Silver Ray, Azamara Quest, Four Seasons I and Silver Dawn.

The expansion will continue into 2027. Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber and Silver Nova feature in January’s programme, followed by Silver Spirit and Carnival Firenze in February.

Norwegian Aura will join the schedule in June, while Royal Caribbean’s Hero of the Seas will arrive in August.

These additions will broaden holiday choices across luxury cruising, premium experiences and large-ship family travel.

How Will PortMiami Reduce Traffic Congestion During Peak Cruise Operations

The Miami-Dade County will activate a comprehensive traffic control initiative before peak season.

Port Miami will coordinate cruise lines, taxis and ridesharing fleets and transportation agencies to optimize vehicle flow through the terminals.

PortMiami will offer complimentary airport shuttle transfers for Carnival Celebration passengers on selected dates through a pilot programme beginning in October 2026.

Royal Caribbean Group will also continue its complimentary airport shuttle initiative for eligible Icon of the Seas passengers on selected dates. These services do not cover every sailing.
