Manipal Hospitals Achieves ₹3,091 Crore Revenue in Q1FY27 with 38.1% YoY Growth, ETHealthworld

Bengaluru: Manipal Hospitals reported a 38.1 per cent growth in year on year (YoY) revenue to Rs 3,091 crore in the three months ended June this year.

Ebitda for the quarter stood at Rs 749 crore reflecting year-on-year growth of 26.4 per cent.

Profit after tax was Rs 243 crore, down 4.2 per cent YoY due to 89 crore post-tax interest on the NCD raised for the Sahyadri Hospitals acquisition, the healthcare major said.

Excluding this cost, adjusted PAT grew 30.9 per cent YoY.

ARPOB, excluding Sahyadri, stood at Rs 77,200 per day, up 8.7% year-on-year. Including Sahyadri, ARPOB Rs 71,500 per day, up 0.7 per cent YoY.

The healthcare major’s Inpatient and outpatient volumes grew 38.8 per cent and 26.0 per cent, respectively, during the quarter, while occupancy improved by 290 basis points year on year to 65 per cent.

Across the chain, gross inpatient revenue from CONGO-R specialties grew 45 per cent YoY, with the specialty mix increasing to 65.4 per cent, highlighting continued demand for complex care.

The corporate hospital chain said Oncology and Orthopedics were key growth drivers, recording inpatient revenue growth of 62 per cent and 49 per cent, respectively, supported by broad-based momentum across the CONGO-R portfolio.

During the same period, Manipal’s newly acquired hospital chain, Sahyadri recorded 12.8 per cent YoY revenue growth, while ebitda increased 18.7 per cent.
