The Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media will showcase the emirate’s tourism ambitions at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2026, scheduled to be held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 14 to 17 September. Taking part under the theme “Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation and Technology,” the Department will present Ajman’s evolving tourism landscape, cultural heritage, unique attractions and emerging visitor experiences to global travel industry leaders.

The participation reflects Ajman’s continued commitment to strengthening its reputation as a dynamic, authentic and future-focused destination. The event will serve as a key platform for promoting the emirate’s tourism offerings, expanding international partnerships and connecting with new markets. Through its presence at ATM 2026, Ajman aims to enhance global visibility, encourage tourism growth, diversify visitor segments and further develop a resilient tourism ecosystem aligned with innovation and future travel trends.

HE Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of the Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, said: “Arabian Travel Market provides an important platform to strengthen Ajman’s international tourism presence and engage with leading partners and industry specialists. This year, we are presenting a destination proposition that reflects Ajman’s identity, bringing together its cultural and historical heritage, evolving tourism experiences, and growing focus on innovation and technology. Together, these elements support the emirate’s competitiveness and long-term tourism growth.”

He added: “Our participation also creates new opportunities to expand cooperation across priority tourism markets and build strategic partnerships that strengthen Ajman’s tourism ecosystem. Collaboration between government entities, tourism establishments and the private sector remains central to sustainable sector development and to enhancing the emirate’s appeal among visitors.”

Ajman will present a vibrant and immersive showcase at Arabian Travel Market 2026, featuring a diverse mix of media displays, cultural attractions and interactive experiences designed to highlight the emirate’s unique identity and tourism appeal. The stand will offer visitors an engaging journey through Ajman’s history, heritage and modern transformation.

A key feature of the exhibition space will be the dedicated media section titled “From the Memory of Ajman”, which will display a carefully selected collection of archival photographs capturing important moments from the emirate’s past. The showcase will provide visitors with a deeper understanding of Ajman’s evolution, from its historic roots to its emergence as a modern tourism destination.

The stand will also include an interactive tourism experience zone where guests can explore Ajman’s attractions, hospitality offerings and leisure opportunities. Meanwhile, the Craftsmen Majlis cultural area will highlight traditional craftsmanship and local heritage through a contemporary display format, celebrating the UAE’s rich cultural traditions and connecting them with modern audiences.

Ajman’s participation will bring together a wide network of tourism stakeholders from both the government and private sectors, demonstrating the emirate’s strong tourism ecosystem and collaborative approach.
