She shared her delight, saying, “This is the first time I visited this Mahotsav, and the beautiful Khurja hand‑design on crockery attracted me immediately.”
Other visitors, like Jainisha Khandelwal, a homemaker, expressed their satisfaction after purchasing serving bowls and ceramic plates for daily use. Atul Bajpai, a lawyer, added to the cultural flavor of the festival by buying three marble Shiva sculptures and one sandalwood Shiva-Parvati statue, saying, “I am a devotee of Bholenath, and I have a collection of his statues, sculptures, and paintings.”
For the younger crowd, the festival offers the chance to shop for traditional wear. Samridhi and Vaishali, both 23, were excited to purchase colorful Jodhpuri juttis for special occasions. “Juttis look good on both western and traditional clothes,” they explained. Their purchase is a testament to the festival’s ability to cater to all kinds of tastes and preferences.
