The global tourism community is preparing for one of the year’s most influential gatherings as the World Travel Market (WTM) opens its doors from November 4 to November 6 at ExCeL London. The prestigious event will unite nearly 4,150 exhibitors from every continent and more than 46,000 professionals representing the entire travel ecosystem—from destination boards and tour operators to travel technology innovators and global investors.

WTM 2025 stands as one of the “big three” international travel exhibitions, alongside FITUR and ITB, serving as a cornerstone for collaboration, innovation, and strategic development within the tourism and hospitality industries. Across three days, the event will host over 100 dynamic sessions, including 79 conferences, all centered on critical global topics such as sustainability, technological innovation, diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion (DEAI), and the growing influence of geo-economics on travel trends.

A Global Stage for Innovation and Leadership

This year’s edition highlights travel technology as a key driver of the industry’s evolution. More than 115 travel tech companies are set to present their latest products, services, and digital solutions designed to reshape how people experience and book travel. Panels and expert discussions will dive deep into the transformation of business models, AI integration, and the future of digital tourism.

Among the anticipated sessions is “Meet the Founders: Inside the Journey of Building, Funding & Scaling Travel Innovation,” which will bring together pioneers who have turned visionary ideas into successful global platforms. Their insights will shed light on the financing, scaling, and innovation challenges faced by startups as they navigate an increasingly competitive travel marketplace.

Another highlight will be the conference titled “Artificial Intelligence is Travel’s Enemy,” where industry experts will examine the pitfalls of AI automation in travel, exploring where technology enhances efficiency and where human insight remains irreplaceable. The discussion will emphasize the delicate balance between technological advancement and the authenticity travelers seek in their experiences.

Exploring Geopolitics and Tourism Shifts

Reflecting the complex global landscape, WTM 2025 will also feature discussions on geopolitics and its impact on travel flows. The session “The New Travel Powerhouses: How Global Geopolitical Shifts are Redrawing Tourism Flows and Demand” will explore how emerging markets, evolving trade alliances, and international policy changes are shaping global tourism patterns. As global travelers increasingly prioritize meaningful, authentic, and value-driven experiences, industry leaders will examine how destinations can adapt to meet these expectations while leveraging technology to enhance engagement and personalization.

Spotlight on the Creator Economy

In addition to technology and policy, WTM 2025 will spotlight the rise of the travel creator economy—an expanding sector that continues to redefine marketing, storytelling, and consumer engagement within tourism. The panel “The Business of Content: Harnessing the $250B+ Travel Creator Economy in 2026” will explore how digital creators have become central to influencing travel decisions. The discussion will highlight the growing trend of brands shifting from one-time influencer collaborations to long-term partnerships that deliver measurable value, brand trust, and community connection.

As content creation becomes integral to destination marketing and product discovery, this session will underline the symbiotic relationship between creators, travel brands, and consumers in shaping the next era of global tourism.

A Hub of Global Collaboration

More than just an exhibition, WTM 2025 serves as a powerful meeting point for global tourism professionals to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and identify the innovations shaping the industry’s future. With participation from travel tech firms, hospitality leaders, airlines, national tourism boards, and destination management companies, the event reinforces London’s position as a hub for international collaboration and business opportunity.

From sustainability to digital transformation, WTM continues to lead the conversation about how travel can evolve responsibly and intelligently in an era of shifting consumer expectations and geopolitical complexity. As the world’s travel industry gathers in London, WTM 2025 stands as a testament to the power of connection, creativity, and forward-thinking in building a more resilient and inclusive global tourism landscape.

Tech-Driven Travel at WTM

After the launch of its new Luxury Travel chapter, GoNexus Group will have two stands at WTM: one in the S7 area and a second one for NexusCube, the company’s marketplace, in the S4 zone. “WTM is the perfect stage to connect with our global partners and share our vision for the future of travel” – states Rubén Gutiérrez, President of GoNexus Group. “Through our technology, we continue to empower local Destination Management Companies (DMCs) around the world to connect seamlessly with global travel partners, creating a more integrated and dynamic ecosystem. We remain committed to transforming the way the world travels through innovation, collaboration, and service excellence.”

For Daryl Lee, this year’s edition will be his first WTM as Group CEO of Dida Holdings. More than 50 delegates will represent the company at the travel show and its stand in the S4 area will highlight the next phase of Dida’s evolution as an AI-first travel technology group. “WTM offers the perfect opportunity to connect with our partners, discuss innovation and technology. It will also allow us to explore how we can continue shaping the future of global travel distribution together.” – explains Lee.

Atcore, Orchestra, Tigerbay, Traffics, Travel Compositor, Travel Connection Technology, Travelgate, Travelsoft Services, Eventiz and Travolution will be present at Travelsoft’s stand, their holding company, in the S3 area. “WTM is a key opportunity to exchange insights on industry trends, explore new business opportunities, and demonstrate how our latest innovations, such as Travel Compositor’s Group Engine, are transforming travel technology” – says Christian Sabbagh, Founder and CEO at Travelsoft and Orchestra. “This event reflects Travelsoft’s commitment to uniting technology, content, and community to empower travel professionals worldwide.”

For Robert Goldsmith, Chief Operating Officer at at InterLnkd, winner of the WTM Start-up Pitch Battle in 2023, “this event is a great opportunity to cement existing relationships and scope out new industry trends in the travel tech”. Goldsmith is looking forward to learning more about how Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) are finding new ways to access new customers, plus new innovative ancillary products and services.

“WTM is the perfect place to identify the new movers and shakers to try and kick off new initiatives in the travel sector” – comments Mathias Olhagen, Chief Commercial Officer at Trava. “I also find that exploring the stands of our suppliers, customers and competitors can be quite exciting. Of course, getting to catch up with old colleagues and industry friends is a nice bonus!”
