The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced the eagerly awaited second edition of the DNA Travel and Fair 2025 (Destination Navigator Assessment), to be held from October 9 to 12 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok. The event this year will feature Thailand’s rich subcultures, providing a comprehensive experience for travelers who want to discover new and customized travel experiences. The theme for this issue is “Thailand’s Subculture: Decode Your Journey.”
Immersive Experiences Await
One of the event’s standout features is the Immersive Room: Your DNA – The Black Box. This virtual lab is designed to decode visitors’ identities and travel preferences through the colors and traditions of Thailand’s subcultures. The fair is segmented into five interactive zones, each tailored to provide distinct experiences that resonate with different lifestyles and personal identities.
1. Thai Pop Zone: A Fusion of Global and Local Trends
For those with a passion for contemporary culture, the Thai Pop Zone promises to be a highlight. This zone explores Thailand’s dynamic blend of global influences and local traditions. Visitors can enjoy a POP Gallery featuring rare art toys from Trendy Gallery, shop exclusive merchandise from GMM TV, and witness drag performances from Alcazar Cabaret Pattaya. Additionally, the House of Pop Market will spotlight renowned artists and influencers, offering a vibrant hub for fans of modern pop culture.
2. Siam Style Zone: A Glimpse into Classic Thai Traditions
The Siam Style Zone transports attendees into the heart of traditional Thailand. The zone will feature an exhibition of the Chud Thai Phra Ratchaniyom (Thai National Costume), along with rare vintage collections that tell the story of Thai fashion through the ages. Visitors will also have the chance to engage in fortune-telling sessions and enjoy performances by likay, molam, and luk thung artists, offering a rich taste of Thailand’s cultural heritage.
3. Work and Play Zone: A Hub for Digital Nomads and Creatives
Catering to the growing number of digital nomads and freelancers, the Work and Play Zone immerses visitors in a digital city lifestyle. The zone features an impressive digital tunnel that leads into a futuristic space where technology and creativity intersect. Attendees can explore photography exhibitions by Foto Club BKK, engage in live streaming at TikTok Live Studios, and relax at a co-working café powered by PunThai Coffee. Creative networking opportunities will also be available via the Fastwork platform, designed for professionals seeking to connect with like-minded individuals.
4. Lifestyle and Family Zone: Fun for All Ages
For families, the Lifestyle and Family Zone offers a range of exciting and interactive activities. Highlights include immersive experiences from Jurassic World, carnival-style attractions, farm-themed entertainment, and wellness showcases. Families will also have the chance to enjoy live animal demonstrations, making this zone a perfect destination for visitors of all ages.
5. Thai Taste Zone: A Culinary Adventure
Food lovers will not want to miss the Thai Taste Zone, which will feature over 95 popular restaurants, many of which have gained fame on TikTok. Celebrity-owned eateries from across the country will also be showcased, and visitors can attend chef-led workshops and fine-dining demonstrations using local ingredients. This culinary journey promises to tantalize taste buds and provide a deeper understanding of Thailand’s rich food culture.
Live Performances and Special Events
The fair will be alive with music and performances throughout its four-day duration. The central stage will host a series of live shows, including a contemporary Thai instrument performance by Fino the Ranad, a Thai textile fashion show, and the exciting 100 Baht to Work and Travel promotion. The event will also feature concerts and appearances by some of Thailand’s most popular artists and actors. Notable performances include Keng Harit and Namping Napaskorn on October 9, the likay troupe Song Thep But Sut Thi Rak alongside singer Palmy on October 10, Yuki Haithongkham on October 11, and Lamyai Haithongkham with the renowned molam ensemble Rabiab Watasilp on October 12.

The DNA Travel and Fair 2025 will be located at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Hall 3–4, G Floor, daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The venue is easily accessible by the Bangkok MRT Blue Line (QSNCC Station), public buses 136 and 185, or taxis and ride-hailing.
