A Landmark Opening in Velachery
VB World Velachery launched on 14 June as the brand’s largest and most ambitious outlet. Spanning 24,000 square feet, it offers a 220-seater restaurant, a 1,000-guest banquet hall, and a 100-seat café. Dedicated parking for 60 cars ensures easy access for guests. The opening follows the success of the Anna Nagar outlet, taking the concept to a new scale.
From Vasanta Bhavan to VB World
VB World builds on a legacy that began in 1974 with Vasanta Bhavan. Over the decades, the brand evolved through Namma Veedu Vasanta Bhavan, adapting to changing tastes while keeping its roots intact. Now, the third generation has created VB World—a space where tradition meets modern hospitality and global dining trends.
Global Flavours in a Vegetarian Menu
The VB World Velachery menu takes vegetarian cuisine beyond the familiar. Guests can choose from Korean, Japanese, Burmese, Thai, Italian, and Mexican dishes. Every plate uses premium ingredients, with options ranging from comfort food and street-style snacks to wellness bowls, wood-fired pizzas, and indulgent desserts. It’s vegetarian dining with an international twist.

Cones & Brew Café Experience
The in-house café, Cones & Brew, is a destination in itself. It offers smoothie bowls, mocktails, loaded fries, and spring rolls with hot honey. A standout feature is Chennai’s first DIY popsicle bar, where guests can customise their frozen treat. The café’s coffee bar serves single-origin beans from Chikmagalur in six brewing styles, including Vietnamese Phin, AeroPress, and siphon.
